We at AC Today wish to take a moment to remember the day 17 years ago that changed this Nation forever: September 11, 2001.
Let us Never Forget the heroism and bravery of so many Americans as we all realized that New York City, Washington, D.C. and several commercial airlines had come under attack by those wishing to do this Nation harm. Many of us here at AC Today either served as EMTs, Firefighters or Law Enforcement and the dedication to service that our brothers and sisters in the First Responder community demonstrated in New York City and Washington, D. C. are examples that shall inspire us all forever. The First Responders exhibited a complete disregard for their own lives as they rushed into burning, toppling buildings to ensure that nobody was left behind.
Further, the bravery and sacrifice of the passengers aboard Flight 93 to prevent another such attack embodied what makes America truly great. In the aftermath of 9-11, we banded together as a nation with a singular purpose to overcome those tragic events. And we have done so.
As we celebrate the heroism of all who gave their lives on 9-11, and in the days that followed, please take a moment to reflect and to offer thanks to all. If you’re so inclined this week, when you encounter a First Responder, whether EMT, Firefighter, Law Enforcement, Active Duty or Retired Military, please take a moment to personally thank them for their dedication and for their service. The events of 9-11 are a stark reminder of the willingness of all First Responders to put their lives at risk so that we all may be safe and healthy.
We at AC Today proudly support the First Responder Community.
